Welcome to Rod Stone Music!

Rod-Stone-2-2-225x300Welcome to the entertaining, inspiring, and diverse world of Rod Stone’s music. Rod’s vast songwriting talent has created heart tugging songs across many genres including country, humorous, patriotic, wedding, inspirational, and pop. The latest feather in his cap consists of composing songs for the Civil War musical Marching Through Culpeper which garnered standing ovations at every performance of its inaugural run.  And his Christian song Wanna Be is the opening music of the new movie Treasure in Heaven.  He spent twenty years in Nashville where he had several songs recorded in the country genre from artists like George Hamilton IV, Ricky Lee Watson, and Jeff and Sheri Easter to Lee Greenwood (see video below.)

You are invited to click categories, sit back, relax, and listen to the gems in Rod’s treasure chest. Your heart will be touched, your feet will start tapping, tears may come to your eyes, and you’ll laugh out loud. Enjoy the gambit of emotions evoked by this musical feast!

Here is the video of Lee Greenwood performing Rod’s song USA Today on the OPRY LIVE SHOW on GAC TV August 27, 2008 which followed his patriotic song God Bless The USA. Greenwood recorded and released USA Today as a single on the 25th anniversary of the release of his first legendary song which is now second only to The Star Spangled Banner in popularity nationwide.
