The Last One To Believe In Me

6 June 2010 5 Comments

I want to share this song with you. I wrote it for all of us who have feared, who have failed and ultimately who have found life by pursuing the vision that God has place in us from the time we were born. Do you have dreams unexpressed or unfulfilled? Are you afraid of falling, afraid of taking the “chance” to be more than comfortable and safe? Life is not found in our sustained comfort and marginal living, or even in the temporal success we might find on this earth. Life is found when we pursue those things that are eternal. So be bold, spread your wings and fly! just remember Who it is that created the wind.

Babe, I will never forget singing this song (which you wrote for me!) to thousands of people almost two years ago. I could barely get through it because of the emotions welling up in me as I thought about how you are that person in my life.
Thank you for always believing in me, for always releasing me to pursue the purposes God laid out for me before the beginning of time and for inspiring the masses through your songs to do the same! You are a treasure to the world, Rod Stone!

Carrie thanks for sharing this beautiful song – I recognize myself in the lyrics :)

God is so good to give us people who are prepared to hold the dream for us and spur us on to walk in our destiny.

Thank you for sharing this very touching song, Rod! Is it Carrie singing? What an anointing of the Holy Spirit on words, music and interpretation! What a gift you both have! I pray that this move you are making will help you spread your wings and reach heights you never imagined before, as you soar on the wind of His love and “pursue those things that are eternal”.

Beautiful Carrie. I know you blessed those 2000 people 2 years ago and this song will continue to be part of your legacy. At age 67, through 12 Women 12 Destinies and the preparation that I was unaware of, I may finally be fulfilling more of the vision God planned for me in addition to being wife and mother in my family.

Dear Rod, you are a genius! This song is so perfect for the 12 Women as we are being coached to reach for our God-ordained destinies by your anointed wife. Thank you for spurring us on, because it’s never too late to reach for they sky!
